When designing the app development, the first step was to place where the logo will go when the users open the app. At the end the logo was decided to be in the centre of the app to be the focal point to immediately grabs the users attention when they open the app. Next to the logo, at the top left side is the menu that will go down to show the different menus for things such as: tickets, fun, information and guests. That way the users can go on the desired menu.

After choosing where the logo and dropped down menu will go, the next step was to decide where the image will go. The image will be of a fantasy landscape from the internet that will emphases the fact that this festival will be around the fantasy genre. This helps with getting the right target audience which are people that are 30-39 of age which we found out in our earlier research and surveys.

The third step was to choose where the dates will go, at the end the decision to put it up on the top half of the image because it will be the next thing to catch the users attention and it gives more information about the festival to the users.

At the end the location of the festival is at the bottom of the image because it guides the users eyes, first thing they see is the logo, then the date then the image then the location and finally the highlights that will be continuing once the users scroll down. With the highlights being right at the bottom and having the need to actually engage the users by making them scroll down it grabs their attention and it allows them to see what to expect at the festival.
After all of the components of the app layout were decided on we put out a survey to gain feedback from the public that will later on be our users. To gain the answers we needed we set out a questionnaire on reddit that got over 100 answers, in which we showcased the final app design with where everything will be and waited for answers.
When taking in the answers and thoughts from the users, the overall answers were positive with over 55% of the audience saying that the final design has considered the most important parts that the users will want to know about when going on an app for a festival. The other 45% of audience has said that they thought a name of the festival is missing since there is a logo but not a name. For that reason the logo will also be the name in the future developments and designs.
