The first one is called ‘Handmade vs AI’ (1) and is a pro animator making their character called ‘Sparkly’ on one side with an AI version on the other side to show how different AI can be, or more like how similar AI can look but for a creative looker it has flaws like the expression and it’s mannerisms. What inspired me from this piece of animation was right at the end. After the animation part where the AI version moves around the end changes to a black screen with the words ‘You will not replace us’ with the ‘not’ being in red. The text ideas are what I took into my own animation. Highlighting the important parts of the statistics/facts used into the sixth and seventh scene with a red font, helping the viewers see and think about the high number of the statistics. Like in the sixth scene where the statistic is ‘Ai is already used or considered by 77% of businesses.’ The 77% highlighted in red to emphasis how high of a percentage of businesses are already using or considering AI, this is in hopes the viewers stop and think about the number in their heads.

For the second animation piece that inspired me is called ‘How AI “art” is made’ (2) and it shows a tired looking artist drawing into the night and posting their finished work of a puppy. The moment they press ‘post’ across the world at the same time someone types into a AI prompt ‘cute puppy’ and it shows AI travelling across networks to steal the original artist puppy head and use it to create the prompt. This animation didn’t specifically inspire my final animation but rather inspired the way I wanted my animation to feel, to make the viewers think about what AI is doing and how it steals from original artists to use as its own and the unethical side of it. It shows how an artist’s job that takes them long to complete can be stolen for mere seconds. This message I also want my animation to portray, showing the clock moving and the robot eye then the human eye to make the viewers think about the inhumane and unethical way that AI works to create the art for these prompts.
