Experiments
For the first poster style in photoshop, I experimented with a cleaner look to the design, using a solid colour as background, and clear images that I added noise and threshold to in photoshop. This style looks more for a magazine cover to promote smoking rather than a poster to repeal people from smoking.
Since all the work currently done for the posters was all digital, I wanted to explore different materials so I created different variants of collages to see how the posters would look if they were made in print rather than in digital media. This idea does get the message across better than the other experiment, but it lacks the refined feel that I want the designs to have.

Prototyping
After deciding to go with the collage idea but in Photoshop instead, I created a prototype by blocking out the text, imagery and elements with circles, blocked out squares and filled in text to get an idea where the elements of the design will sit in the final versions.
The final prototype is a fully made poster, using the noise and threshold settings in photoshop to create a more raw and distorted effect to the images while still making sure they are understandable. Using different parts of the previous experiments to create a final version of the design for the future posters as well.
