(The final informed designs for the three series posters. 1,2 & 3)
After finishing with all the experiments, research, testing and idea generating I knew what I want to create. What was created is a series of three posters that focus on creating a anti-vaping message for the audience. Since the target audience for this work is young adults aged 20-30s the posters are created in a Brutalism style that is most likely to attract the right audience. To make sure the message is clear and nothing takes away from it the designs are all in black and white.
The three posters follow a storyline, how the addiction starts, how it turns into addiction and the problems and consequences that said addiction can cause. All three designs follow the same aesthetic, while the layout is different in all three the elements inside of the designs are similar, all of them have icons (created by me in Illustrator), images that are edited with noise and threshold in Photoshop, a gradient rectangle, and all three have the main message in the middle in three different opacities (‘fun’, ‘problems’, and ‘consequences’).
